Tatsuya Tats Daniel
Tatsuya (Tats) Daniel is the founder of the TD Orchestra. Currently based in Providence, RI, Tats is a percussionist who plays with multiple music groups throughout the Boston and Providence areas, including the Brown Wind Symphony, Brown University Orchestra, Concord Orchestra, Kendall Square Orchestra, MIT Concert Choir, MIT Symphony Orchestra, and the New England Philharmonic. Tats is currently a PhD candidate in the physics department at Brown University, where his research focus is in theoretical astrophysics and cosmology. He received his bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2020, where he studied physics and math; he also played in the MIT Wind Ensemble and MIT Symphony Orchestra during his time at MIT.
