Conrado del Rosario was born in Angeles City, Pampanga in 1958. He won a scholarship to study composition, conducting and flute at the University of the Philippines College of Music with Lucio San Pedro, Francisco Feliciano, Ramon Santos, Eric Barcelo and Sonny Yangco. He worked as a professional musician , composer and arranger for studio and film in Manila as well as teach Music Theory at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music. He won 3rd prize in solo instrument category (flute) in the National Competitions for Young Artists.He conducted the Young Artists' Chamber Orchestra and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. In 1982 he won the first prize in the League of Filipino Composers Chamber Music Composition Competition with his String Quartet No.1 and received a Young Artists of the Philippines Foundation Scholarship for further studies at the Berlin Hochschule der Kuenste (now Berlin University of the Arts) where he studied composition with Isang Yun and Witold Szalonek. He won the 1985 Hambacher International Com- position Competition Prize. 2nd prize at the 1988 Hitzacker International Composition Competition. He also won Work Scholarships from the Berlin Cultural Senate in 1988, 1991 , 1992 and 1997 which provided funds to create a composition and have it performed. His chamber music piece "pine whispers“ was chosen as one of the four finalists in the 1995 IRINO International Composition Competition in Japan. He was invited for a Concert-Lecture tour in the 1997 Pacific Music Festival in Canada. In 1998 he was the Berlin represen- tative for a half year Working-Scholarship at the Cite International des Arts in Paris, France
Dexter started his first music lessons in piano at the age of 9. His interest shifted to guitar in his teens. He took two years of formal classical training in guitar under Prof. Joey Roble, his mentor. In his freshman years in the UST Conservatory of Music, at age 18, he became the youngest guitar teacher in Yamaha School of Music. He shifted from classical guitar to cello major after witnessing an inspiring homecoming performance by world renowned cellist Ramon “Chino” Bolipata, and transferred to UP College of Music, Major in Cello under Prof. Eduardo Pasamba, Mrs. Ylano, and world renowned cellist Wilfredo “Willie” Pasamba. After a year, he became affiliated with several orchestral bodies in the Philippines, and has extensive performances under the batons of Maestro Basilio “Billie” Manalo, Arturo “Toti” Molina, National Artist Ryan Cayabyab, and Chino Toledo. Currently, he explores traditional Armenian and Turkish music.
We will open a music school that will teach intermediate students about music theory and how to read sheet music. Our goal is to produce world class musicians.
We will open a museum that offers indegenous instruments from different parts of the Philippines to show that music has always been a very big part of our culture.
We will organize performances to showcase orchestral music and local music.
